Again you save me
When light fades from my gaze
And I behold all in fear and loss.

Your love holds me close
A feathered breast,
Quiet, warm and hallow.

I fail life by my absent soul
Yet find sanctuary again
In your heart’s circle

Your exquisiteness
Dresses me transparently
Touching my trembling
With your finger-tips,
your lips...

And I return in newness.
The harshness of all that hurt me
Vanishing with each caress.
When you awake to you,
And I to I
Then never shall this world see
Such love made manifest!

I wait,
Always patient
Always impatient.
